Durable is a Chicago-based roofing company, family-owned and operated since 1917. As the president of Durable, Joe Richards, I know what it takes to get the job done. Even with 29 years of roofing practice, and 26 for my partner Rich, we continually strive to improve Durable’s already widespread experience, and maintain the highest degree of professionalism.

We specialize in commercial/ industrial roofing, residential roofing, and architectural sheet metal work, repairs, maintenance, and consultation. We can provide manufacturer’s warranties, and even guarantees on our products and services upon request.

Our mission statement is simple; We provide the best manufacturer-backed material, installed by the best in-house trained roofers. The end result is a complete roof system that is guaranteed by our 89 years experience, and the manufacturers warranty on material.

Being approved installers for selected material manufacturers enables us to provide full system guarantees up to 30 years for our commercial/industrial customers, and up to 50 years for our residential customers.
